Ranger Lakes Campground
     

      The Ranger Lakes Campground is located about 62 miles west of Fort Collins in the Colorado State Forest. This campground contains 32 campsites situated among spruce and lodgepole pine trees. All of the sites are suitable for RVs. They are fairly close together and well shaded. Each site has a well groomed tent pad, picnic table, electrical hookups, and a fire grate. Facilities include water, two restrooms and a dump station. A nature trail and the Gould Loop Trail are accessible from the campground. Interpretive programs are offered on some weekend nights in the campground amphitheater. The campground is within a short walk of the Ranger Lakes fishing areas. The fishing area includes a fishing pier for people with disabilities. Boats are not permitted on the Ranger Lakes. Reservations are accepted.

FISHING: Fishing for trout is available in Ranger Lakes.

HIKING: A nature trail and the Gould Loop Trail are accessible from the campground.

WILDLIFE VIEWING: There is an abundance of wildlife for your viewing pleasure.

Directions:
     
Take Highway 287 north from Fort Collins to Laporte. Continue on Highway 287 to Highway 14. Travel west on 14 for about 62 miles over CameronPass to the RangerLakes Campground turnoff. The campground is just south of the highway.
