Twin Eagles Trailhead Campground

The Twin Eagles Trailhead Campground is located about 15 miles northwest of the town of Lake George. It consists of nine campsites situated on both sides of Tarryall Creek. The elevation here is about 8,600 feet. Four of the sites are located near the loop road to the trailhead in the open with a few scattered ponderosa pines. The others are walk-in tent sites on the other side of the creek. These sites have much more shade and are more private. The campground has one vault toilet. There is no drinking water available. This campground should be considered a tent campground only as there is little room for RVs. Reservations are not accepted at this campground. Open late May through October.
