Timberline Group Campground
     

      The Timberline Group Campground is located near Kenosha Pass about seven miles southwest of the small town of Grant . The elevation here is 9,700 feet. The roads through the campground are dirt/gravel and form two loops. The two loops are separated by a rise. Picnic tables and fire rings are scattered around each camping area. The campground is situated in a stand of aspen, lodgepole pine, and spruce trees. There are two vault toilets but no drinking water. Shade is good for both sites and the terrain provides privacy. Up to 100 campers per loop are allowed. Reservations are accepted. Open May through early September.

Directions:
     
Take Highway 285 for about seven miles from Grant to County Road 58 just east of Kenosha Pass. Turn west on CR 58, travel a short distance and then turn right on FR 125. Go about a quarter mile to the campground.
