The Crags Campground
     

      The Crags Campground is located about eight miles southeast of Divide at an elevation of 10,100 feet. The campground contains 17 campsites that are suitable for tent camping or small RVs. Campsites are nestled among dense stands of spruce trees. Those near the Crags Trailhead are less shaded. The road leading to the campground is rough and narrow. It is not recommended for large RVs. Many of the campsites are situated along Four Mile Creek. The facilities available at Crags Campground include tables, fire grates, drinking water and vault-type toilets. Trash collection is provided in bear-proof receptacles. This campground is often crowded. The Crags Trail is very popular and hikers use every available parking space. Reservations are not accepted for this campground. This campground has been identified as a bear problem area so please follow standard procedures while in bear country. The campground is open all year but may be inaccessible during winter.

FISHING: Fishing is available in Four Mile Creek.

HIKING: Hiking is available on the Crags Trail and trails in nearby Mueller State Park.

WILDLIFE VIEWING : There is an abundance of wildlife for your viewing pleasure.

Directions:
     
Travel 18 miles west on Highway 24 to Woodland Park. Continue traveling west on Highway 24 for seven miles to Divide. In Divide turn south on to Highway 67 and travel 4 miles to Forest Road 383. Take FR 383 for three miles to the campground.
