

The Springdale Campground is located about 5 miles east of Woodland Park at an elevation of 9,100 feet. This campground has 13 campsites suitable for small RVs and tents. The campground is well shaded with aspen, spruce, and lodgepole pines. The gravel road forms a single loop on a ridge above a large meadow. Facilities include one vault toilet and picnic tables and fire grates for each campsite. Drinking water is not available. This is a very pleasant campground just made for relaxing in the outdoors. Wildlife can often be seen around the campground at various times of the day. The Rampart Recreation Area is just 3.5 miles away. Reservations are not accepted for sites in this campground. Open early May through September.

FISHING: Fishing is available in Rampart Reservoir, Nichols Reservoir, and Carroll Lakes .
BOATING: Boating is available on Rampart Reservoir.
BIKING: Mountain bike riding is available on the Rainbow Gulch and Rampart Reservoir trails.
WILDLIFE VIEWING : There is an abundance of wildlife for your viewing pleasure.
From Woodland Park take County Road 22 (turn right off Hwy 24 just before the McDonald’s) for about 3 miles to the Rampart Range Road ( Forest Road 300). Go south on Rampart Range Road for about 2 miles to the campground. The campground is on the left side of the road.
