South Meadows Campground
     

      The South Meadow Campground is located about 5 miles north of Woodland Park at an elevation of about 8,000 feet. This campground has 64 campsites suitable for RVs and tents. These campsites are arranged around a large loop with several inner loops. There are several pull-through campsites that will accommodate larger RVs. Most campsites are large and well spaced apart. The campground is situated in a stand of large ponderosa pine trees. These trees provide ample shade and privacy. The roads through the campground are paved and the parking spurs are gravel. Facilities include six vault toilets and six water hydrants. Manitou Park Lake is about two miles north of the campground. The nearest RV dump station is located just outside the Pike Community Group Campground. Reservations are available for 47 sites in the campground. Open end of May through mid September.

Activities:
HIKING: Hiking is available on the Centennial and Manitou Park Lake trails.

BIKING: Biking is available on the Centennial Trail along Hwy 67.

FISHING: Fishing is available in Manitou Park Lake and Trout Creek.

From Woodland Park take Hwy 67 north for about five miles. The campground is on the left side of the highway.
