Meadow Ridge Campground
     

      The Meadow Ridge Campground is located about 8 miles east of Woodland Park at an elevation of 9,200 feet. This campground has 19 campsites suitable for small RVs and tents. Sites 12 and 13 are handicapped-accessible. The campground is well shaded with aspen and lodgepole pines. The paved road forms a single loop above Rampart Reservoir. There is a trail leading to Rampart Reservoir at the far end of the campground. Facilities include two accessible vault toilets and seven water hydrants. Reservations are accepted for all of the campsites. There is an entrance fee for the Rampart Range Recreation Area. Open early May through September.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing is available in Rampart Reservoir, Nichols Reservoir, and Carroll Lakes .

BOATING: Boating is available on Rampart Reservoir.


HIKING: Hiking is available on the Rainbow Gulch, Rampart Reservoir, Aspen Gulch, and Nichols trails

BIKING: Mountain bike riding is available on the Rainbow Gulch and Rampart Reservoir trails.

Directions:
     
From Woodland Park take County Road 22 (turn right off Hwy 24 just before the McDonald’s) for about 3 miles to the Rampart Range Road ( Forest Road 300). Go south on Rampart Range Road for about 2.5 miles to Forest Road 306. Turn left and travel about 2 miles to the campground.
