Lone Rock Campground
     

      The Lone Rock Campground is located about .6 miles west of the town of Deckers on Highway 126 next to the South Platte River at an elevation of 6,400 feet. This campground has 18 campsites, most of which are walk-in tent sites. The road through the campground is paved. Most of the campsites are near the river with a few up the hill toward the highway. A few sites will accommodate small RVs. Facilities include two vault toilets and four water hydrants. Each site has a picnic table and a fire grate. Ponderosa pines provide some shade and privacy is poor. This campground is very popular and fills often. Reservations are accepted. Open May through early October.
