The Green Mountain Campground is located approximately 10 miles southwest of the small town of Buffalo Creek at an elevation of 7,600 feet. There are six tent-only campsites situated on both sides of the South Fork Buffalo Creek. The campsites are well shaded with large spruce trees and privacy is very good. Areas for pitching your tent are level. There is a vault toilet and water hydrant in the campground. The Buffalo Creek mountain bike area offers cyclists 30+ miles of trail riding.
