Blue Mountain Campground
     

     The Blue Mountain Campground is located about one mile southwest of the town of Lake George at an elevation of 8,200 feet. Twenty one campsites are situated around a large loop among lodgepole and ponderosa pines. Facilities include two vault toilets and a water hydrant. Roads through the campground are dirt/gravel. Campsites will accommodate tents as well as small to medium sized RVs. Reservations are accepted at this campground. Open May through early October.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing is available in the SouthPlattRiver, Eleven Mile Reservoir, and SpinneyMountain Reservoir.

HIKING: Hiking is available on Forest Service roads and an interpretive trail at the west end of the campground.

BIKING: Biking is available on Forest Service roads.

BOATING: Boating is available on Eleven Mile Reservoir.

Directions:
     
Take County Road 96 south from Lake George for 1/2 mile to County Road 61. The campground is located approximately 1/4 mile from the entrance to Elevenmile Canyon , south on County Road 61.
