Sunset Point Campground
     

     The Sunset Point Campground is located on the southwest shore of Lake Granby at an elevation of 8,300 feet. The campground is situated in a stand of spruce and lodgepole pines on a peninsula near one of the dams. There are 25 sites in the campground. All of the sites are suitable for RV camping. The campsites are well wooded and offer ample privacy. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate. There are three walk-in tent sites and three double sites. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 35 feet.
     The road through the campground is paved. There are three water hydrants and two restrooms. The restrooms will accommodate disabled persons. A courtesy boat launch area is available. Reservations are not accepted for campsites in this campground. The season for this campground normally runs from Memorial Day through mid-October, depending on the weather.
Check with the Forest Service for the current fees.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing is available in Shadow Mountain Reservoir and Lake Granby.

HIKING: Hiking is available on the nearby East Shore Trail or trails leading into the Indian Peaks Wilderness.

BOATING: Boating is available on Lake Granby. The campground has a boat ramp for launching boats.

Directions:
     
Take I-70 to US 40. Travel north on US 40 to Granby. Turn right on US 34 just north of Granby. Travel approximately five miles to the entrance to the Arapaho National Recreation Area. Turn right on to Forest Road 125 and travel 1.5 miles to the entrance road to the campground. Travel north to the campground.
