St. Louis Creek Campground
     

     St. Louis Creek campground is located about three miles west of Fraser on County Road 73 at an elevation of 8,900 feet. The campground is situated in a stand of lodgepole pine along St Louis Creek. There are 16 sites in the campground. All of the campsites are suitable for RV camping. Most of the sites are well wooded offering ample shade. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 32 feet.
     The roads through the campground are dirt. There are two water hydrants and two restrooms. One of the restrooms will accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are not accepted for campsites in this campground. The season for this campground normally runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, depending on the weather.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing for trout is available in St. Louis Creek.

HIKING: Hiking is available on the numerous nearby jeep roads, trails in the Fraser trail system and on the creekside trail in the campground.

BICYCLING: Nearby jeep roads and the Fraser trail system offer ample opportunity for mountain bike riding.

 

Directions:
     
Take I-70 to US 40. Travel north on US 40 to Fraser. Turn left on Eisenhower Drive by the Conoco station. Turn left at the "T" in the road. Turn right on County Road 73 and travel three miles to the campground. The campground is on the left side of the road.
