Mizpah Campground
     

     

     Mizpah Campground is located about 7.5 miles north of I70 on US 40 at an elevation of 9,200 feet. The campground is situated in a dense stand of spruce trees along West Clear Creek. There are 10 sites in the campground. All of the sites are suitable for RV camping. All of the sites are heavily wooded. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 32 feet.
     The roads through the campground are dirt. There is one water hydrant and one restroom that will not accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are not accepted for campsites in this campground. The season for this campground normally runs from late May through mid September, depending on the weather. Check with the Forest Service for the current fees.

Activities:
FISHING: Fishing for trout is available in West Clear Creek that runs along side of the campground.

HIKING: Hiking is available from Berthoud Pass and in the nearby Vasquez Peak Wilderness.

SIGHT SEEING: Take US 40 through Berthoud Pass for a great scenic drive.

Directions:
     Take I-70 to US 40. Travel north on US 40 for about 7.5 miles. The campground is on the left side of the highway.
