Cutthroat Bay Group Campground
     

     Cutthroat Bay Group campground is located about 10 miles north of Granby just off Highway 34 at an elevation of 8,400 feet. The campground is situated in a grove of lodgepole pine trees on the north side of Lake Granby and the east side of Cutthroat Trout Bay. There are two group sites in the campground. Each site has a pavilion, grills, group fire pit, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and tent pads. The maximum vehicle length that can be accommodated is 32 feet.
     The roads through the campground are paved. There are two water hydrants and two restrooms. Both of the restrooms and water hydrants will accommodate disabled persons. Reservations are mandatory. The season for this campground normally runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, depending on the weather.
Check with the Forest Service for the current fees.

FISHING: Fishing is available in Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Reservoir.

BOATING: Boating is available on Lake Granby and Shadow Mountain Reservoir.

Directions:
     Take I-70 to US 40. Travel north on US 40 to Granby. Turn right on US 34 just north of Granby. Travel approximately 10 miles to the turnoff. Turn right and drive about a quarter mile to the campground. The campground is located on the right side of the road.
