

The Flatiron Campground is located southwest of Loveland along the northwest shore of Flatiron Reservoir . The elevation is about 5,470 feet. There are 37 campsites in this campground. Most of the sites are large pull-through sites. The areas around the campsites are well manicured grass. This campground is well stocked with amenities including: electrical hookups, three vault toilets, two water hydrants, two shelters, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets, and a wheelchair-accessible fishing peer. You get great views of the reservoir and Flatiron Mountain from the campsites. There is a large day-use area in the campground. The reservoir is regularly stocked with rainbow trout. Boating and swimming are not permitted. Reservations are accepted and a Larimer County Parks Permit is required. This campground is very popular and often fills most weekends.

FISHING: Trout fishing is good in Flatiron Reservoir.
Take Highway 34 west to County Road 29. Turn south on CR 29 and travel about two miles to CR 18E. Turn west on CR18E and travel about 2.3 miles to Flatiron Reservoir
